Sam & Jess - Mount Sugarloaf Engagement Shoot

When Sam & Jess first hit me up to shoot their wedding, they told me that they would be awkward in front of the camera. I would be lying if I didn't say that I thought I would have my work cut out for me. I could not have been more wrong!

I've never had the pleasure of shooting a couple that just had so much natural chemistry and were so happy to be in each other's company. I can't express how keen I am for their wedding coming up later on in the year!

Their engagement shoot turned out to be almost as good of a saga as Star Wars (Jks it didn't even come close). We were planning on the icy waters of the Allyn River in the Barrington Tops when we got to the fourth (yeah, fourth) river crossing and it was completely over run with water. We walked around a bit and decided that a Corolla hatch could not make it through a 40cm deep rushing rapid flow. We high-tailed it back to Mt Sugarloaf 10 minutes away from home which was ironic after a 3 hour drive to the Barringtons... With light fading quickly they got changed in the car park and raced up the mountain to catch the end of an absolutely stunning evening. It was legit 👌🏼

Thanks for having me out to shoot for you both, it was unreal!!
